I'm back from course and i feel contented, happy, satisfaction, rewarding and tired. Still remember the first time i said to instructor Faizal, 'I hope I can endure these 5 days of camp'. And i did. I know some people would scoff at that, but well, i hope for it, and i made it happen.
Fucking happy i tell ya.
Columbus is the best. I swear i've made the nicest people in camp. Everyone seems to be helping out in something, no matter how small it is. It's really cool. They are nice and happy people and they cook delicious food for hungry stomaches. :-)
I would never forget how tough we have to trek from OBS campsite to some deserted place which is 10km with our almost-hitting 10kg bag.
I would never forget how tired we are when we kayak back 14km away.
I would never forget the smug face instructor Faizal gave us when we say' Where are we now?' and he responded,' Ask your leaders la.' and telling us we had gone the wrong way when we are already half-past the road.
I would never forget how everyone unload their treasures( I mean, can food) and say ,' Hey heyhey i got this..... hey hey hey i got that...'
I would never forget how people tries to liven the atmosphere when we all are dying from exhaustion though they failed pretty badly cuz it only makes me feel more hungry with all the 'Laksa', 'Mac', 'KFC', 'Sakae'
I would never forget sleeping in tents with my three other tentmates :)
I would never forget the gigantic spider with it's huge cobweb, ready to entice insects like bugs. eww.
I would never forget how smelly we are, but still help out as we can.
I would never forget how everyone yells 'WAKE UP NOWW IT'S 630AM'. Annoying.
I would never forget the jetty jump and the touching speech after that which kind of makes me welled up.
I would never forget Faizal 1.2 (inside joke)
I would never forget how we drink milo (by pouring the milo powder into our mouths and add water inside and gargle it)
I would never forget how happy everyone seems. :]
I would never forget how scary is when i looked down from the Indiana. :(
i would never forget COLUMBUS.
Because you guys, each and everyone, rocks.
5Days of camp = Lifetime memory (:
Columbus' June 1st-5th 09.
